About Me

My name is Smit Viroja. I'm a junior at the American Heritage School of Boca/Delray. This is my first time competing in the Sigma Xi Online Student Research Showcase, but my love for scientific research started from when I began high school. My main interests are chemistry, mathematics, and neuroscience. This project, however, will focus solely on chemistry (specifically the well-known transesterification reaction for biodiesel production).
